Penthouse at Tadepalli

A quiet mystery lies at the center of this penthouse, where tradition meets light, and space unveils its soul only to those who step inside.

The conceptual plan evolved by focusing on the central open-to-sky coffered slab as a divider between the private and semi-private areas in the penthouse.

The idea was to convert the coffered slab into a pillared courtyard, making it the main element upon entering the penthouse.
Inspired by the traditional courtyard, this space will serve as a focal point and a puja room bathed in light and vegetation. The selection of natural materials and the traditional aesthetic will be complemented by contemporary finishes.

Warm tones are contrasted with cool-hued accents and a minimal aesthetic. The dark-toned materials will be elevated by light flooding through the floor-to-ceiling glazing.

This floor plan is thoughtfully organized around a central courtyard and puja area with a coffered slab, serving as the spiritual and visual heart of the home. Surrounding the courtyard, key living areas radiate outward: on one side, the living room opens to an outdoor deck, promoting indoor–outdoor living, while the dry kitchen and helper’s zone (with wet kitchen) ensure functional convenience. Bedrooms—including Bed 3, the guest bedroom, and Bed 2—are strategically positioned for privacy, with the master suite tucked away in a more secluded corner.
